Country in the Christmas – 2015

citc15

Every year I participate in a blogger gift exchange for Christmas.  There are a few bloggers that orchestrate it all and they do a fabulous job.  I’d like you to go visit their blogs when you are finished here at mine.  You can easily find your way to their blogs at the bottom of this post!

Every year it is thrilling to receive a box full of goodies from someone you don’t know. The other exciting part is putting together a gift for someone else!  This year I got to send Katie @ Rural Route 2  a gift! You can see what I sent her by visiting her blog this week!

Through this experience we are able to “online meet” new people.  Visit other women associated in agriculture and read new blogs!   It’s fun all around!

Lucky for me I received a gift from Laura @ Laura Unearthed!  She did a great job of nailing what I like!  The letter she sent was so heart warming I couldn’t wait to read her blog and see what was inside the box!

Blogger Gift

As I opened the gifts in the box I could tell she read about me, found what I liked or enjoyed, and created a box of treasures for me.  The brownies were probably “the best” I have ever tasted, (and you all know how I take my brownies seriously!  The tea towels to embroider that included edging she crocheted beautifully are precious and the canvas was exactly how it is in the world of farming.  (Plus my favorite color)

Thank you Laura for making my Christmas alittle more special!  Be sure to check out her blog and facebook page!

Thank you to these ladies for organizing and doing a great job at this exchange!

  1. What a sweet thoughtful gift! Today (and this week) is seriously my favorite as I get to visit each and every one of you and see what you received – and it warms my heart to see farm ladies connecting and making new friends across the country – that is the main goal behind our exchange and I’m so happy when it works out! Glad you enjoyed participating and we loved having you!

  2. Thank you Julie for participating again this year! We love having you and I am loving the new blog! Laura is just as sweet and genuine in person as she is on her blog. I had a good feeling about the two of you and I am glad to see that feeling was spot on. Thanks again and Happy New Year to you and the family!
