Fall harvest began for us September 19th with grain sorghum being cut on some land we rent. We finished up a few fields of milo the next few days and then the corn was ready.

Once the corn was harvested off the pivot behind our home Milton planted triticale to use for grazing our beef cattle we will be getting in the winter. This is something new for us so here’s hoping it goes well!
Wheat sowing and continued fall harvest is on the agenda for the next few weeks. This time of year is hard on this farmer’s wife but I am trying to stay positive and supportive. Be sure to follow our social media pages to see more of what’s happening around the farm! Thanks for stopping by!
